General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between UmzugsExpress GmbH and its customers.

1. Scope

These GTC apply to all services of UmzugsExpress GmbH, in particular moves, transports, clearances, cleaning and storage.

2. Quote and conclusion of contract

Our quotes are non-binding. A contract is concluded when the customer accepts the quote and we confirm acceptance. The quoted fixed price applies based on the information provided during the survey.

3. Services and prices

The scope of services results from the quote. Additional services not quoted are charged separately. All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), plus statutory VAT unless otherwise stated.

4. Customer obligations

The customer ensures free access, any necessary parking restrictions and the timely provision of the goods to be moved. Valuables and documents are to be transported by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

5. Liability and insurance

Moves are insured up to CHF 100,000. Damage must be reported in writing without delay, but no later than within 7 days. No liability is assumed for indirect or consequential damage.

6. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed, the invoice is payable within 10 days of receipt. In case of late payment, we reserve the right to charge default interest.

7. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the customer, compensation may apply depending on the timing. Details are regulated upon conclusion of the contract.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of UmzugsExpress GmbH, to the extent permitted by law.
